Welcome

The Equity Advisory Committee (EAC) believes that to truly close the gap, students need to be supported not only in the classroom, but also beyond it. We understand that, in order to do their best, and be their best, our students must feel safe, supported, confident, capable and whole. The EAC is comprised of community leaders, parents of Anne Arundel County Public School (AACPS) students, and representatives from various AACPS offices who share this belief. These EAC members work to familiarize themselves with various programs, policies, initiatives and resources that are, or could possibly be, available to support AACPS students. The Equity Advisory Committee provides insight and information as well as accountability to ensure that AACPS is consistently working to provide the best opportunities to students and families of AACPS.
